LIFE + is a European Union financial instrument aimed specifically at supporting environmental protection.

The SIC "Colli Berici" (Berici hills) includes high naturalness habitat, and relevant species, set in a highly urbanized geographic context. This combination (natural/urban) is present in other European countries.

With The "Life + Berici Natura 2000", Vicenza Province and its partners will undertake a series of important measures for the conservation of species and habitats of Berici hills so that they can become a European reference for similar situations.
